In October, 2012, the First Church introduced Mommy and Me groups under the direction of Tina Rychalsky, a young mother who lives in the community. Free of charge, Mommy and Me has generated so much interest, a second day had to be added to the weekly calendar. Mommy and Me is now held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 - 12:00 pm. The group offers a great opportunity for area moms and their babies to develop friendships and networking... and for moms to have adult conversations. You're invited to join us for the Men's Breakfast on Saturdays at 8 am where a delicious breakfast and wonderful conversation.

On the first Tuesday of each month at the First Church, the Book Club meets to discuss the book of the month. Books being read this fall are Winter of the World by Ken Follett, and State of Wonder by Ann Pachette.
