Mike Robertson grew up in Taunton MA and graduated from Harvard College in 1957 and the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School in 1979. After a long and varied business career he served as the Executive Secretary of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches from 1991 to 1997. He completed the N.A.’s Lay Ministry training program in1997 and developed an inner city ministry with two churches in Milwaukee. He was ordained in 2000 while serving as the interim pastor at Pilgrim Church in Taunton. After serving as the interim pastor at Union Church in Braintree he accepted the call to First church in 2006.

Mike, the father of four grown children, married Emmy in1998 following the death of his wife of 36 years, Peggy. Sailing, sports and reading along with beginning piano lessons are some of the current interests occupying Mike’s leisure time.
